Archaeological data is inherently fragile, and unfortunately prone to loss and mismanagement. To alleviate these issues, the Center for Digital Antiquity (CDA) created The Digital Archaeological Record (tDAR), an online repository for archaeological information focused on long-term preservation and reuse.
